Philosophy

"Planning is not a single event – it is a process."

My mission is to help you plan for a financial future that aligns with your long-term goals while delivering high-caliber, personalized service.

With integrity as a cornerstone of my practice, I employ a four-step process that serves as a roadmap toward your financial goals:

STEP 1:  UNDERSTANDING YOUR GOALS
We will take a deep dive into your financial information and goals to start creating a skeleton of your personal plan.  If appropriate, I can consult with your legal and/or tax advisors to gain a more well-rounded understanding of your financial picture.

STEP 2:  DEVELOPING YOUR PLAN
We will work together in preparing a comprehensive plan.  This will give us an opportunity to ask additional questions and confirm the interpretation of your investment goals.  I will then begin to discuss specific investment strategies as they relate to your goals and overall investment behavior.

STEP 3:  IMPLEMENTING YOUR PLAN
I will make sure that you understand and are comfortable with your investment strategy.  Once I receive your approval, we will move forward with an appropriate investment allocation to support your goals, concerns, risk tolerances, and financial circumstances.

STEP 4:  PERIODICALLY EVALUATING PROGRESS WITH YOU
I am committed to periodically reviewing your plan with you – as well as the allocations within your portfolio – and rebalancing as necessary based on changes in the markets and your life.

You should expect to receive monthly statements, quarterly valuations, and an annual tax summary.  I am committed to an open door policy, so please feel free to contact my office with any questions, concerns, or ideas.

Asset allocation does in ensure a profit or protect against loss.  Rebalancing may have tax consequences, which you should discuss with your tax advisor.  Stifel does not provide tax advice.  You should consult with your tax advisor regarding your particular situation.
